I’m as loyal as it comes to both Bill the GM and Bill the coach. Whatever he does is always the most insanely brilliant move to ever happen in the history of football. But, I gotta say, for the first time ever I’m questioning my faith today. Did Bill see that Steven Jackson has cut his hair? Because that’s a hugely important piece. Steven Jackson, the guy with dreads, can be a warrior. Steven Jackson, the guy with a shaved head, might as well be an accountant. I know it sounds crazy but the hair is a huge part of the mentality. Think about Troy Polamalu, do you think Troy Polamalu is as good a player if he just has a regular fade? The answer is absolutely not. Cutting it off is the move of someone who’d settled down and accepted a new path in life. I hope I’m wrong but I’ve just got a bad feeling about this one.
